About Us

Nathan Murray is owner, operator and chief farm hand of Murray Farms and Ranch. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Physician Assistant program. He works fulltime as a physician assistant at Marlow Family Care. Nathan has a passion for all things outdoors. He loves working in his vegetable garden, hunting, fishing, and working on improving the ranch.

Tara Murray is wife of Nathan, mother of Samuel and co-owner. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Nursing Program. She received her BSN in 2017. She works fulltime as Case Manager for Duncan Regional Hospital. Tara loves to travel and experience new restaurants. She is an excellent photographer. Her subject of choice is currently young Samuel.

Samuel Aiden Murray is son of Nathan and Tara and is a cattlemen in the making. He loves to be outdoors. He loves watching and learning about all the farm animals

Ray Murray is father of Nathan and Papa to Samuel. Ray is a veteran of the United States Army achieving rank of Major. He retired from Michelin Tire Company after more than 43 years of service. Despite earning a retirement, Ray chose to invest in cattle and become a full time ranch hand. He works daily on the farm performing vital duties that keeps the operation functional. Ray is also responsible for keeping detailed health and wellness logs on all the cattle. Ray holds a special place in his heart for the bulls. He often can be found sneaking treats at the bull pasture. Off the ranch, Ray enjoys traveling, hiking, and University of Oklahoma football. He is boomer sooner through and through.

Susan Murray is mother of Nathan, wife of Ray, and Grammy to Samuel. Susan is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Pharmacy Program. She works fulltime as a pharmacist for the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs. Susan often acts as a voice of reason on the farm. She draws much of her knowledge from personal experiences from growing up on a farm. Susan is detail oriented and can be counted on to research lineages and scrutinize any animal prior to purchase. She ensures any animal purchased fits into our breeding program.
